Gene and Kim went up to the mountain on Thursday and Quinten and family followed on Friday but we had to wait for Dad to finish his bus route so we did not arrive until Saturday.

The weather was not cooperating again and everyone was trapped inside watching movies.  At least, they had something to do after we got there with the ATVs.

Quinten and the boys had a good time building up the fire.  We cooked tin foil dinners on the resulting coals.  Gene and family left that night after dinner.

Sunday was spent down at Little Reservoir fishing and canoeing.

Monday we went on down to the cemetery for the Memorial Day program.  Maurice drove Mom up from St George.  She just got out of the hospital so she was very weak.  They left for home immediately after the program.

Tuesday we drove down to put flowers on Dad’s father’s grave in Cedar City.

Wednesday and Thursday we spent driving our ATV’s around the outskirts of Bryce’s Canyon.  On our way home, we drove down to Strawberry Point above Navaho Lake to see the property that Dad’s parents gave us.  The road is not any better but the area is far more beautiful than I remembered it.

Friday we drove on home.  I put up a few pictures.  I’ll put some up of Bryce Canyon next.
