After surviving the night in our sketchy hotel we woke up to some very unusually cold and wet weather for southern Utah.  We ate breakfast outside on some benches and packed up to make the most of our day at Bryce Canyon.  Thankfully I packed for contingencies and had rain gear and pants for everyone in our family.  Viewing the rock formations of Bryce Canyon was sometimes limited by the clouds but the rain made the colors very bright.  It was fascinating to watch the clouds roll through the the hills.  Once it really started to downpour we headed home to rest from our adventures thankful for Grandma’s comfortable house.
