We spent the next day at Zion’s National Park hiking with the family.  We went on an easy hike and ate lunch on our hike.  The squirrels were crazy and made eating our lunch a tricky experience.  The three oldest hiked up the river while we headed to a more squirrel free area to play in the water.  We cooled off in the visitor’s center afterwards and let the kids pick out souvenirs with their birthday money.  We headed out the back side of the park and enjoyed beautiful scenery while we drove to Panguitch, UT to stay the night.  We arrived to find our motel rather “interesting” and our dining experience matched. Good thing the kids are good sports and excited about little things.
